Your responsibilities
- As Project Manager Technical Implementation CCU/S (f/m/d) you support the overall project management as a deputy project manager / sub-project leader in all technical aspects for development and realization of large-scale carbon capture plants (investment volume >100 million ) across Europe
- You also act as a cross-project know-how resource for your specific discipline (Process, E&IC, Civil, Mechanical, etc.)
- You in close collaboration with external engineering service providers and E.ONs commercial project management develop and finalize tendering documents to procure CO2 capture plants and relevant equipment from EPC contractors and equipment suppliers
- You execute complete work packages in the technical implementation of the onsite Carbon Capture plant from the concept phase until commissioning
- You conduct negotiations with EPC and equipment suppliers, as well as engineering companies, and manage coordination during the planning and implementation phases
- You support permitting activities, which are executed by the permit manager together with external consultants
- You are responsible for technical design, budget setup and controlling, project management, and milestone reporting for designated work packages within the Carbon Capture project
Your qualifications
- 3+ years of project management or engineering experience in power plants or large-scale chemical installations
- Profound knowledge of engineering, procurement and tendering procedures
- University Degree or similar in one of the disciplines process/ electrical/ instrumentation and control/ civil/ chemical/ mechanical engineering
- Advanced professional experience in implementation projects, e.g., with energy, utility, chemical or pharmaceutical producer, oil and gas or engineering service providers
- Preferably practical experience with carbon capture systems, CO2 liquification or similar gas handling and processing systems
- Strong intrinsic motivation and energy, diligence and openness to learn and develop in interdisciplinary teams
- Great communication and negotiation skills, fluency in English and preferably also in German
- Enjoy working in a growing international environment
