Job description
In this role you are responsible for the mechanical development and design of innovative solutions for our fire protection products. With your creativity, you will drive forward the innovative development of fire protection products in an interdisciplinary environment.

From the research of new technologies to the development of market-maturity, innovative system solutions in the field of fastening and fire protection - our products are tested and optimised with the most modern laboratory equipment.In order to develop and launch a new generation of fire protection products, we are looking for reinforcement for our product development department. Your tasks will include the design of concept ideas, as well as the construction and systematic optimization of innovative product designs in which you can push the technical limits. It will help you to build up knowledge and understanding of the application and product requirements through direct contact with Hilti customers and site visits. You will accompany the product development process from the idea to the market launch and drive the development forward in interdisciplinary cooperation with other departments (e.g. Approval, Supply, Quality, Plant). You document the results you achieve in accordance with the guidelines, e.g. in SAP, CAD drawings, etc. and present them in team meetings and steering committees. In an international team, your creative ideas and your view from the outside are very welcome and you can generally support our product development as a team player.
