Job description

At Greenworlder, we are looking for a Software Mobile Engineer to join our team and help us build and improve our social media platform. As a recently launched startup, we are building our platform from scratch, which presents a unique and exciting challenge for anyone who is passionate about software development engineering. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be part of a team that is creating something new and innovative in the sustainability space. As a Software Mobile Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and improving mobile app, collaborating with an international team of developers both on and nearshore. You will work closely with the product and design teams to develop new features and enhance the user experience, as well as ensure the mobile app scalability and security. This role requires a deep understanding of software development principles and experience with mobile application development, particularly for scalable and reliable systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with modern mobile development frameworks, and a strong understanding of databases, APIs, and other technologies (see below). Above all, we are looking for someone who is excited about the challenge of building something new, and who is passionate about making a positive impact on the world through technology. We are looking for someone who Is not afraid of coding in different languages like React Native, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript. Has great mobile app coding skills. Knows Object Oriented Programming, SOLID, and other modern coding techniques. Knows how to use approaches like Test Driven Development, Design for Maintainability. Is experienced in different types of databases such as: NoSQL or MySQL. Has deep knowledge about service oriented architecture and distributed monoliths including API's. Is able to understand the UX team's designs, and is able to challenge them if they have other points of view. Has a good level of English communication skills. Your seniority level will be assessed based on your knowledge and experience, not based on number of years industry. The interview process will consist of four 1h interviews 1h - Coding - logical and maintainable, problem solving, data structures and algorithms.
