Job description
In your new role you will:
- Establish efficient, reusable state-of-the-art test frameworks together with domain-specific experts on Pre-silicon/Post-silicon for all levels (unit/integration-test, SW test, validation)
- Understand requirements and architecture , support the definition and review of test plan, derive test criteria, set up test metrics, develop test cases, and ensure reports compliance
- Actively cooperate with Designers as well as concept and verification, validation engineers to ensure product delivery
- Envisage, implement, institutionalize, and maintain the verification and validation methods and infrastructure (e.g., automation to improve quality and efficiency in terms of cost and time)
- Institutionalize software test process compliant with Automotive standards (e.g., ISO26262, ASPICE)
Your Profile
As a Staff Engineer, you clarify areas of responsibility, coordinate your work with colleagues, and regularly share your insights with them. Furthermore, you see and understand the root causes of potential delays or quality defects and develop suitable solutions for them. Lastly, you inspire others with your ideas and explain even complex issues in a clear and convincing manner.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Degree in Electronics Engineering or similar field of studies
- 3-5 years of working experiences in software testing which includes a good know-how of V-model standard software development life cycle
- Hands-on experience on simulation and regression tools , embedded compliers , and debuggers
- Proficient in embedded software development or validation using C
- Working experience in scripting language such as python
- Experience in the development/maintain of the test automation and continuous integration frameworks
- Very good knowledge of computer architecture and embedded processor (ARM/RISC-V)
- Knowledge in automotive standards & processes such as ISO26262, ISO21434 & ASPICE is beneficial
- Good self-organization, time management and coordination skills
- A methodical and analytical mindset and the ability to understand, summarize and present complex topics
- Fluent English communication
