At P&G; PTT – Production & Test Technologies, we develop, design and build automation and test equipment for different business units. This includes the conceptual development and realization of fully automated manufacturing lines as well as the development of single manufacturing & testing cells, semi-automated and manual workplaces & stand-alone test equipment.
New automation concepts needs to be developed in collaboration with the mechanical design group. Software architecture needs to be developed with focus on safety- and functional aspects and needs to be further developed in structured software.
The electrical concepts and designs need to be adopted. For upgrading, refurbishing of existing manufacturing lines a software evaluation of the existing program needs to be done to develop a reliable software upgrade scenario.
In cooperation with the process engineer the machine sequences needs to be optimized, reflecting the specification in terms of machine safety, quality and reliability aspects. The software planning work for equipment realization needs to be coordinated with other supporting functions. External programmers have to be trained, coordinated and supported.
Job Qualifications
A qualification as a state-certified technician or master craftsman with several years of professional experience or a bachelor’s degree with strong academic results in electrical engineering and automation technology.
Expertise in the field of software development design (design, develop, implement, test, document) with focus on embedded and real time systems (Siemens S7-1500 TIA-Portal).
Ability to provide strong and structured control systems development including design & programming of various operations, such as component assembly & testing, motion control and robotics.
Knowledge and application experience of PLC’s safety control systems, HMI design, serial interfaces (e.g. RS232), Ethernet and Profinet networks and switches.
You work effectively with diverse groups of people by embracing creativity, innovation, and initiative.
You can communicate proficiently in English and German (written and spoken).
