Job description

Are you an experienced category buyer with expertise in indirect procurement? Do you have experience working within the manufacturing sector and delivering cost-saving initiatives? Our client, based in Frankfurt, is on the search for Category Buyer for their consultancy services division. As part of this team, your role will involve managing supplier relationships. This opportunity gives you the chance to work in a Global company, which achieved a turnover of over €12billion last year.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proven track record as a successful category buyer specialising in indirect procurement.


Skills:

Procurement Skills
This position requires someone who can expertly manage suppliers whilst developing robust sourcing strategies that drive savings through effective negotiations. You'll need strong analytic skills combined with excellent communication abilities so that you can effectively liaise with stakeholders both internally and externally.

Industrial Knowledge
Experience gained within Manufacturing environments would be advantageous, however having operated large-scale projects focused on Procurement functions such as Purchasing & Supply Chain Management processes are key requirements for success

Responsibilities:

* Managing end-to-end supply chain activities including contract negotiation;
* Conducting market analysis researches regularly while leveraging best practices from other industries where applicable;
* Developing strategic alliances by collaborating closely with internal departments (Finance/Marketing/Sales) ensuring alignment between all parties involved
* Leading RFIs/RFPs process efficiently while engaging third party vendors only when necessary #J-18808-Ljbffr
