IT system administrator (m/f/d)
Tasks
- Management of the existing network and firewall landscape
- Involvement in architectural decisions regarding the network infrastructure (WAN & LAN)
- Work closely with consultants to manage firewall policies and ensure a healthy and secure network firewall environment
- Manage internal cloud network components and architecture and create technical documentation and change logs for audit purposes
- Participation in the design of business processes, analysis of requirements and development of a functional solution (blueprint) for the business process to be developed
- Ensure and maintain service quality by defining and enforcing IT organizational standards based on the global IT strategy
- Contribute to the successful execution of key global IT projects
- Ensure the latest security standards for network services and compliance with the latest IT policies
Requirements
- Completed training as an IT specialist, IT systems specialist, IT specialist or a comparable qualification (e.g. a degree in a similar field)
- Extensive experience in IT infrastructure and cloud environments with more than 1000 users
- Sound knowledge in the administration and implementation of firewall systems, preferably FortiGate / Checkpoint
- In-depth experience in IT security and user administration
- Good knowledge of network solutions (including routing, switching, firewalls)
- Good knowledge of Cisco network devices, preferably Meraki / Catalyst
- Valid CCNA or CCNP equivalent certifications for Cisco, Checkpoint or other network vendors
- Strong presentation skills and very good intercultural competence
- Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
