Smart Pricer is the leading ticket price optimization company in Europe.
We are proud to work with leading ski resorts such as Sölden and Zermatt as well as sports and entertainment players such as FC Bayern Munich, Deutsche Entertainment AG (DEAG) and more than 100 other customers .
As a next step, we want to take our dynamic pricing models to the next level with an improved forecasting engine and machine learning and for this we need you as a Data Science Analyst in Berlin as soon as possible
Tasks
As a Data Science Analyst: At Smart Pricer, you will be responsible for our data microservices and drive productivity and data availability across the company. You accompany our pricing projects from scoping to delivery, question and optimize our pricing algorithms. You will develop a deep understanding of the pricing impact of our customers' businesses by processing massive data sets and conducting deep analysis. On the one hand, you create reports and dashboards, and on the other hand, you further develop our machine learning models for demand forecasting and pricing in order to take them to the next level.
You are part of our data team and are in close contact internally with our DevOps, consulting and product team as the expert for all data-related questions. Externally, you will take part in selected customer discussions as a sidekick for the consulting team.
Qualification
MUST HAVES
- Data Analyst: with at least 3 – 5 years of experience in statistical research techniques such as linear/non-linear regression, time series modeling, statistical testing, etc.
- Familiar with creating modern BI dashboards, ideally using Qlik Sense
- In-depth knowledge and experience in the areas of ETLs, data modeling and data visualization. You know Python and SQL and are familiar with Github
- Extensive experience with machine learning, preferably in the areas of forecasting and time-series modeling
- Ability to confidently present results internally to the team and externally to customers
NICE TO HAVE - Experience with REST APIs
- Experience with the Google Cloud Platform
- Degree or comparable training in the field of statistics, operations research, computer science, physics, mathematics or a similar quantitative area
