Responsibilities:
- Set Global Best-Practice Standards: Establish and maintain global best-practice standards for the delivery of asset-heavy projects.
- Process optimization: Enabling optimal utilization of resources
- Conduct Portfolio View of Projects: Perform a comprehensive review and analysis of all projects in delivery, providing insights into their progress, status, and potential risks.
- Initiate and Steer Performance-Driven Dialogues: Facilitate performance-driven dialogues among project teams and stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and address challenges.
- Participate in Steering Committees: Serve as a key member of steering committees for major projects, providing expertise and guidance to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and successful project delivery.
- In close co-operation with controlling Conduct Post-Completion Analysis (PCA) of Projects: Conduct post-completion analysis (PCA) of delivered projects to assess their performance against key metrics and objectives and be the carrier for learning into investment approvals
- Health & Safety: Sharing knowledge for an improved safety culture
- Be the expert owner of operational excellence agenda through Lean, Six Sigma or other recognized tools.
- Formulate project delivery strategy standards for different assets groups and support the regional businesses and OEM Product and Digital Enablement team in finding, selecting and implementing the best tools e.g. PT risk.
- Develop and communicate reference cases to enable Project delivery excellence
- Boost technical performance in project delivery by best practice & capability sharing
- Lead international and large scale optimization projects within EIS.
- Aligning the optimization efforts with strategic orientation of EIS, e.g. by continuously monitoring and verifying technical and regulatory innovations in distribution and generation assets.
- Take ownership to contribute 15Mn€ of EBIT value to EIS organisation by 2025 through process optimization.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, is required. This educational background provides the technical knowledge and understanding necessary for managing complex projects in the energy sector.
- Proven Track Record in Delivering Capex-Heavy Asset Projects: Proven Experience in Operating & Maintaining Assets is added benefit.
- Deep Understanding of EIS Business and Value Drivers: A thorough understanding of the Energy, Industrial, and Services (EIS) business and its key value drivers is required. This includes familiarity with the company's products, services, market dynamics, and strategic objectives.
