Job description

As a valued member of our Finance Team, the role of Financial Accountant International (FA) is to support our daily accounting and business-related financial processes in order to prepare and deliver accurate accounting information to both internal and external stakeholders. Our team is diverse, global, and comprised of highly motivated experts who prioritize open communication and actively support your further professional development.

With the guidance of our Senior Team members, you will implement best practices for all accounting and closing procedures, laying the groundwork for our management reporting.

You will be working in:

English and German (fluency required)

How you will make an impact:

• Perform daily accounting for international entities
• Handle the accounting processing of vendor invoices, employee expenses and other entries in Accounts Payable
• Prepare and process sales invoices in accordance with our internal guidelines and support dunning processes
• Execute payment cycle and process bank transactions in the accounting system
• Support accurate monthly and annual closing in accordance with German GAAP and annual audits
• VAT filings
• First point of contact for our stakeholders with issues regarding invoicing or other financial related questions
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and related systems.

Skills you will need to be successful:

• Successfully completed commercial education in Accounting or Business Administration or similar qualification
• At least 2+ years relevant working experience in financial accounting
• Respecting and understanding different cultural values
• Solid knowledge of bookkeeping principles in German GAAP (HGB) and/or IFRS
• Organizational talent with an independent and structured way of working
• Proficiency in Excel/Google spreadsheets
• Experience with Microsoft Business Central 365 is a big plus
