Woodward L'Orange is a pioneer of state-of-the-art technology on the way to sustainable solutions: Components and systems for the energy conversion systems of the future. With around 1,100 employees at our sites in Stuttgart, Glatten, Wolfratshausen and Rellingen, we develop and produce a broad product portfolio of components for the control, metering and processing of current and future fuels (PTX). This portfolio includes injection technology, including advanced common rail technology. Our products are used in modern large engines and fuel cells in ships, power plants, railroads and other applications.

Tasks

• Technical Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for IT systems, client hardware and software
• Problem solving through diagnosis of error sources
• Support for local & networked production machines PCs in cooperation with the manufacturers
• Process-oriented exchange of standard hardware as part of asset management
• Support for local & networked multifunction printers, including the creation and management of network printer queues
• Collaboration in global IT projects, e.g. for standardization and continuous improvement
• Support in the development of global standards for configurations, installations and maintenance of hardware and software

Qualification

• Successfully completed vocational training in the field of computer science or equivalent qualifications
• Practical experience working with client computer hardware and software, preferably in a global environment
• Solid knowledge of client operating systems, modern office productivity applications and knowledge of Active Directory and account management
• Ideally a Comptia A+ certification
• Good written and spoken English and German language skills
• Enjoy working with customers, a good understanding of customer needs and a service-oriented way of working round off your profile
