Then Emma is the right place for you.The Sales & Operational Planning Traineeship is Emma's graduate program for high-potential talent interested in gaining exceptional overview and experience in supply chain and operational planning. As a Sales & Operations Planning Trainee, you will gain exposure to our different planning functions by doing 3-4 months rotations in our Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Planning, and S&OP Data teams. You will also be expected to build the bridge between our different functions and by doing that, to accelerate your career development and grow at least one development level by the end of the one-year program, in which you will constantly be supported by our diverse team of experts.
What you'll do:
- As a Sales & Operations Planning Trainee, you will take part in Emma’s high-potential graduate program, gaining exposure to the different planning functions by doing 3-4 months rotations in our Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Planning, and S&OP Data teams.
- You will be able to explore demand, supply, inventory, production, and lifecycle planning. As well as planning excellence, focusing on systems and processes through your rotations.
- You will lead your own projects and workstreams, taking full ownership from day one.
- As you rotate through the program, you will contribute to the development of Emma’s key performance indicators, improvement the accuracy and agility of our planning.
- You will work closely with our cross-functional teams in Lisbon and Frankfurt and collaborate with the regional teams in Manila and Mexico.
- The program lasts one year and consists of 3- 4 rotations. By the end of your trainee program, you will be expected to grow at least one development level, in which you will constantly be supported by your team, and you will join one of Emma’s S&OP teams in a permanent position.
Who we are looking for;
- You have a bachelor’s or master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field. You have graduated in the last 1-2 years.
- You are highly driven and looking to accelerate your professional development through our rotational trainee program, specifically focused on operational planning functions. Therefore, you are willing to commit to the trainee status for at least one year, and you are excited to stay with us afterwards.
- Ideally, you have some relevant experience in supply chain management or operational planning.
- You are digitally savvy, strong with analytics, and can draw meaningful insights when looking at data.
- You are highly structured, with a strong organizational talent.
- You are a communicative team player and have very good English skills.
