Neuromodulation Technology Engineer
SUMMARY:
The Neuromodulation Technology Engineer is a member of a team responsible for clinical and applied research in the area of neuromodulation, which includes diagnostics and therapy for lower back and limb pain, rechargeable implantable stimulators, diagnostic wearable devices, and new applications. Typical tasks include the invention, demonstration of feasibility, and prototyping of algorithms, research platforms, and features to support new products, as well as interfacing with end users, production software, and hardware development teams during the innovation, specification, and prototyping phases of product development. The member writes software, contributes to hardware architecture, and develops prototypes to support research studies, and interfaces with IC designers to evaluate product prototypes and adapt them to research needs. The member works in a highly innovative environment, is expected to produce intellectual property and contribute to scientific publications related to their work.
