Job description

PURPOSE OF JOB

Be responsible for Compliance and Risk matters and provide guidance and support to the client-facing staff.

MAIN RESPONSONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Take responsibility for AML/CFT matters and provide guidance and support to the client-facing staff and be solutions-oriented;

Identify and implement policies and risk mitigating procedures;

Guide other teams within the organization throughout the AML/CFT compliance processes and check the implementation;

Handle escalations from the Transfer Agency team and perform ad-hoc controls;

Handle escalations of AML/CFT breaches;

Produce key review outputs e.g. review reports and participating fully in the identification and assessment of risk, to help set JTC's risk appetite;

Assist in the implementation and ongoing effective compliance/transactional monitoring in accordance with regulatory and business requirements;

Participate in the client acceptance process and validate all the documents required to comply with AML/CFT regulations in Luxembourg;

Implement and periodically review the KRIs throughout the business;

Coordination of KPIs collection for AML/CFT reporting;

Liaise with internal and external auditors and provide requested AML/CFT materials;

Assist the RC for AML/CFT Reporting preparation (internal and to authorities);

Provide education and training to staff on AML/CFT matters, strengthen risk awareness and develop a risk-based culture;

Assist with AML/CFT projects coordination.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor or a Master degree in law, finance or economics;

Proven experience of minimum 5 years in a PFS or in the funds industry in a Risk & Compliance function including a deep knowledge of AML/KYC laws and regulations;

Demonstrate a clear understanding of the compliance and statutory obligations related to Luxembourg regulated and non-regulated investment funds;

Able to take responsibility, prioritise, use initiative and to get on with others as a team player;

Demonstrate autonomy, motivation, enthusiastic and positive approach, good organisational capabilities, excellent client service attitude and proactivity;

Fluency in English, other language knowledge will be an asset.
