In the newly founded unit “Platform Verticals and Integration” we are setting up several #englishwelcome teams. German skills are not required for all delivery team roles! As a unit, we specialize in highly attractive platform niches. Our scope of responsibility includes state-of-the-art solutions such as ChatGPT, the integration of existing platform services to value-added product bundles as well as the development of selected features across BuildIT platforms.

We are looking for you as Fullstack Developer (f/m/d) for DB Systel as soon as possible. The position is 100% remote within Germany.

Deine Aufgaben:

• You collaborate with product owners, designers, and other developers to create challenging, robust and scalable web-based applications
• You collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs
• You participate in the end-to-end development process beginning from detailed requirement engineering, technical design and implementation phases as well as contributing to concepts & documentation for maintaining and expanding the developed system
• You develop, and maintain server-side applications using languages such as Node.js or Python
• Your task is to deate, develop, and maintain client-side applications using languages such as JavaScript, as well as frameworks such as React or Angular
• You customize and implement RESTful APIs for internal and external consumption and integrate with third-party APIs and services with a focus on the implementation of Large Language Model and chatbot functionality (ChatGPT)
• You optimize the performance of web applications and write automated tests to ensure the quality and stability of the codebase. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers

Dein Profil:

• You completed your (technical) university studies in (business) informatics or a comparable field; alternatively, you have an apprenticeship in the IT sector with corresponding professional experience
• You gained several years of experience in software development (esp. Java, Python, C#, Node.js, Java.script) as well as with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• You are very familiar with cloud solutions (AWS or Azure) as well as scalable cloud architectures and you have already worked with IaC frameworks (e.g. AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager or Terraform)
• Working accordingly to the standards of modern DevOps-oriented software development is part of your principles
• You enjoy working in teams and taking on the technical responsibility of AI, IoT and Data Management services in production together with your team
• Fluent English and strong communication skills complete your profile
