Job description
Develop and implement the international trade strategy for Infinite Roots, with a primary focus on expanding exports in the mycelium and food production industry.
Identify and evaluate potential markets, partners, and distributors to establish a robust international network.
Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify new market opportunities, demand trends, and competitive landscapes in various regions.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key international stakeholders, including distributors, importers, government agencies, and trade associations.
Build and manage a portfolio of international clients, ensuring timely and effective communication, addressing any concerns or queries promptly.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, marketing, and Product Development, to ensure successful execution of exporting activities.
Stay updated on global trade regulations, tariffs, import/export policies, and compliance requirements, ensuring Infinite Roots' full compliance with relevant laws.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with international partners and distributors to maximize profitability and market penetration.
Bachelor's degree in international business, marketing, economics, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
3-5 years of experience working in international trade/business development, preferably in the biotech or food production industry.
Familiarity with global trade regulations, import/export procedures, and compliance requirements.
Proven track record of successfully expanding exports, building international partnerships, and generating business growth.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and negotiate with stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in German and English. Knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
