Junior Finance Manager (f/m/d)
Your responsibilities
As Junior Finance Manager(f/m/d) you will be part of the Finance team at We Are Era and work closely together with our Shared Service Center form RTL. You will take ownership of some of our key financial processes which includes monthly tasks for AdSense, Media Solutions and intercompany recharges.Thus, you will have the responsibility to make sure financial processes are followed and improved where necessary.Your tasks entail regular communication with many other teams within all We Are Era entities across Europe.
Your profile
- Academic degree in Finance, Business Administration or similar degree
- Good understanding of accounting principles and ideally first experience in that area
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, ideally first experience in SAP
- Great communication skills
- Structured and detailed way of working as well as attention to detail: ability to break down complex processes into actionable steps
- Proactive and not afraid to take initiative
- Fluent German and Excellent English language skills

- Maintenance and implementation of new features for existing web applications
- Integration with 3rd-party services and applications
- Writing well-tested server-side and client-side code
- Refactoring and optimizations of existing applications
- Migrating data from legacy applications
Your profile
- 3+ years of experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails
- Knowledge of REST; HTML/HTML5; CSS/CSS3; JSON
- Experience with relational database systems and SQL (preferably PostgreSQL); writing tests with RSpec; JavaScript; TypeScript; Git version control system and GitHub
- Understanding of test-driven development
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good team player
- Time-management skills
