Aufgaben:
As an R&D Equipment Coordination Lead, you will play a pivotal role in our new and ultra-modern research and development building, M600, located in Marburg, Germany. Your primary responsibility will be to drive overcoming R&D equipment-related challenges and thereby increasing laboratory productivity. Your mission is to build and maintain relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure services around R&D equipment management exceed expectations. Thereby, you ensure that every R&D employee can dedicate their time and expertise to advance research on innovative, safe, and patient-focused treatments and drugs.
The role
- Under consideration of legal, regulatory, and economic requirements, you will define processes and responsibilities regarding R&D facilities and lab equipment maintenance with local or global functions to increase productivity
- One of your main responsibilities will be to establish and maintain processes for the selection and procurement of new lab equipment, systems, technologies, or platforms related to R&D equipment
- As a liaison for operational needs, you will translate operational needs into business initiatives and implement operational plans and best practices relating to policies, processes, and governance
- Another focus will be for you to manage R&D equipment service provider relationships and budget and act as an escalation point for issues with relation to contractors and vendors and secure resolution
- As an expert in the field, you will lead and execute critical R&D equipment services meetings
Qualifikationsprofil:
- University Degree in a relevant field of science (e.g., Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Biology, Pharmaceutical Technology, Biotechnology)
- More than 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Proficient at managing multiple stakeholders and priorities
- Experience in dealing with various IT systems, general high affinity and interest in technology. Pioneering role in the integration of new technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in German (C1) and English (spoken and written)
