Kommunaler Versorgungsverband Baden-Württemberg (KVBW) is a public corporation with the business areas of civil servant pensions, benefits, municipal personnel services and supplementary pensions. Its geographical area of operation covers the state of Baden-Württemberg. The association is headquartered in Karlsruhe with a second office in Stuttgart.
At our office in Karlsruhe, we are looking to fill the following position in the Software Engineering and IT Coordination department at the earliest possible date:
IT Coordinator (m/f/d) for the area of supplementary pensions
Grade A10 LBesO / pay grade 9b TVöD, reference number: V 562.24
Your main responsibilities:
- Methodical testing of new or modified process parts incl. documentation of the results
- Support and assistance for users in the specialist area and our external cooperation partners
- Collaboration on specialist concepts - as the basis for subsequent programming
- Evaluation, preparation, analysis and processing of data for the specialist side
- Creation and maintenance of procedural documentation, manuals, online help
You will work - often on a project basis - in a team at the interface between the specialist department and application development.
We expect the following from you:
- A completed apprenticeship in the IT/DP sector or alternatively an apprenticeship related to administration, insurance or business in combination with a clear interest in IT/DP-related tasks
- Experience in the technical design of IT applications and in carrying out test work is an advantage, but not a prerequisite
- Good knowledge of the usual Office software
- Sense of responsibility, quick comprehension and good judgment
- Ability to work in a team, initiative, communication skills, good work and time organization
