Job description
For our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space we are looking for a "Simulation Software Engineer Visualisation" (m/f/d) in temporary employment as soon as possible.
Your tasks:
- Derive system requirements or user stories from operational requirements for new functionalities of Engineering and Training Simulation systems or subsystems
- Design architecture of software modules for new simulator functionalities (specifically for a new Visual Interface)
- Develop Visual Interface components and plugins (mainly C++)
- Create and perform unit tests of software modules
- Create tools for improving our development processes (e.g. code generators) Integrate the developed components with the overall Simulator systems and Image Generator software
- Create test cases and perform integration testing
- Documentation of the appropriate software modules
- Module responsibility for dedicated subsystems
Your profile:
- Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, computer science, aerospace or a comparable qualification
- More than three years of professional experience in software engineering
- Aeronautical background and/or experience with simulators, synthetic environments and/or visual systems (Image Generators) would be a plus
- Knowledge about agile Development Methodologies desired
- Good knowledge of Python and Matlab
- Knowledge of C++ is required
- Fluent in English
- German and/or Spanish skills are beneficial
