Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Strategic Sourcing Teams develop and implement multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. They align strategy and execution with cross-functional partners such as engineering, manufacturing, product management and functional owners. They execute the competitive bid, negotiation, contracting processes and/or technical continuous improvement for assigned commodities or services; collaborate across Business Units and cross-regions for optimal TE leverage. Our teams demonstrate a high level of expertise in procurement competencies (business/supply chain acumen, negotiation, sourcing strategy development and execution, global savvy, and project and product lifecycle management) and ensure results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures.

• Mitarbeit in Projekten im Bereich Procurement NPI zur Unterstützung in neuen Projekten in Bezug auf Prozesse, sowie zugehörige Werkzeuge/Equipment und Komponenten 
• Unterstützend bei der End-to-End Projektdurchführung 
• Mitarbeit in Projekten bezüglich dem Entwicklungsprozess neuer Produkte und Prozesse 
• Support bei der Koordination einzelner Herstellungsprozesse (Formen / Matrizen / Montage / Kaufteile und Prozesse), die bei internen oder externen Lieferanten erfolgen können 
• Unterstützung der PFMEA- und Fertigungsrisikoanalyse und bei der Erfüllung von Machbarkeitsverpflichtungen gegenüber dem Kunden 
• Werkzeug- und Equipmentbestellungen: Unterstützung von LOI, LON, PR, PO, WBS, DIS 
• Unterstützung aller Ausmess- und Korrekturgespräche mit Metrology Centern und Produktentwicklung bis zur endgültigen Freigabe 
• Organisation von Grenzmustern und Abnahmeläufen (bei Bedarf vor Ort)

What your background should look like:

• Kaufmännische Ausbildung mit entsprechender Berufserfahrung oder Technische 
• Ausbildung und zusätzliche Ausbildung zum Techniker/Industriemeister mit entsprechender Erfahrung 
• Technisches Verständnis und Erfahrung in Werkzeug- / Form- / Montage- und Stanzprozessen 
• Fliessende Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift - andere Sprachen sind von Vorteil 
• Grundkenntnisse über Spritzgusswerkzeuge und thermoplastisches Formen und anderen Fertigungstechnologien 
• Gute zwischenmenschliche und kommunikative Fähigkeiten sowie die Fähigkeit zum Multitasking 
• Verhandlungsgeschick und gute Präsentationsfähigkeiten 
• Kenntnisse in SAP sind wünschenswert 
• Kenntnisse in MS Project wünschenswert

Compensation  
Competitive pay commensurate with experience: $XX to $XX per hour (subject to change dependent on physical location)
