Service and Maintenance Technician (m/f/d) - Region Eastern Germany (Home Office near Gera)

Our experienced service team ensures the availability and efficiency of facilities for a wide range of customers. To strengthen our team, we are looking for skilled and motivated service technicians (m/f/d) who can assist our customers with their expert knowledge. Your diverse responsibilities will include maintenance activities and complete repairs. Our experienced service team ensures the availability and efficiency of systems for a wide range of customers across an expansive region. While they primarily operate nationwide in Germany, they will predominantly serve our customers in an area spanning from Gera in the east to Dresden, in the north up to Magdeburg, in the west extending to Kassel, and in the south down to Nuremberg. Our service technicians will need to travel and stay within this extensive geographical area to support our customers. You will receive: A company car with or without private use Personal protective equipment and communication tools (including a laptop and mobile phone) Thorough and targeted training at our training center in Friedberg A telecommuting option near our main customers in the Gera region; however, you will work nationwide Opportunities for career advancement

Your responsibilities

• Performing maintenance and repair measures with the support of external personnel
• Inspecting the technical condition of robot systems, applications, and plant components
• Precise execution of service orders, instructing other team members, conducting and documenting test runs
• Providing detailed customer advice on necessary repair measures using intelligent robot analysis technology
• Ensuring customer and plant data, as well as creating detailed deployment reports and maintenance protocols
• Implementing special repairs for our customers based on preventive measures from the manufacturer's factories
• Administrative management, including the creation of reports and records for comprehensive documentation

Your background

• Electrical engineering education, for example, as an electrician or mechatronics technician
• Knowledge of robots and service experience is an advantage but not a requirement
• Fluent in German and good command of written and spoken English
• Independent, well-structured, and organized work style (both technically and administratively)
• Dedicated team player with a strong customer orientation
• Willingness to undertake regular multi-day business trips
• Experience in project management is beneficial, especially on large-scale construction sites, where overseeing customers, the number of robots, personnel, materials, and time is crucial
