Education required: A completed degree in health economics, medicine, or natural sciences. Ideally, with further education in the field of health economics and public health.

Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in German and English 

Other requirements: Willingness to be geographically (domestically) mobile throughout rotations 

Have right to work in Germany for the duration of the programme

Our Future Leaders are actively involved in projects and take on exciting tasks at the Munich site and in the field during the 36-month program.

Become a Future Leader in the Market Access area: Introduction of new products / Pricing / AMNOG procedure / Regional market access / Health policy (Berlin location) / Communication

• Support for AMNOG dossiers, G-BA consultations, and price negotiations, including conducting competitor analyses.
• Support for pricing and reimbursement projects, such as EU reference price research and calculations for AMNOG dossiers and price negotiations, early price calculations for pipeline assets, price forecasts, and analyses of fixed reference prices.
• Development and support for health economic analyses and studies, such as budget impact analyses, systematic literature reviews, analyses of health data, and health services research projects in the field of vaccines.
• Support for regional market access projects, e.g., contract and cooperation opportunities with health insurance companies, voluntary reimbursement of vaccines, and projects with external stakeholders.
• Support for joint projects with the Health Policy and Corporate Communication departments.

During the Future Leader Program, you will learn about different areas through rotations:

In the Marketing area, you can expect:

• Getting to know the broad spectrum of brand management as one of our key assets.
• Developing strategies, campaigns, and tactics – together with our global teams.
• Conducting data analyses, interpreting data, and supporting performance management.
• Implementing strategies, such as developing advertising content for sales, organizing events, and creating content for our digital channels.
• Bringing new ideas to the cross-functional brand team.

In the Field Service, you can expect:

• Getting to know GSK Germany in a 360° experience and gaining hands-on experience with our customers as a field service representative.
• Completing training as a pharmaceutical representative, prepared for this sales role and fully supported by GSK.

Additional rotations are based on personal interests and internal needs, such as:

• Interested in the development of our healthcare system or want to communicate about our indications? Then get to know our Health Policy or Corporate Communication departments.
• Your passion is digitization? Then gain further experience in digital marketing.
• Talented with numbers? Dive into our finance department.
• Have a scientific background? Then you’re in the right place in our Medicine teams.

In the rotations, you will not only get to know different departments but also collaborate with many different colleagues. This way, you’ll build a diverse and cross-functional network that will benefit you in your future career at GSK. Senior leaders support your personal and professional development during the program through targeted coaching and mentoring.

After completing the Future Leader Program, you will take on a full-time position in one of the aforementioned areas

Our Future Leaders Graduate Programme is designed to accelerate the development of graduates who don’t have significant previous professional work experience in the area to which they are applying.  Of course, many graduates who join the programme have worked while studying or after graduation.  If you’ve already developed substantial experience working in a professional role in your sector, while you would be able to apply for this programme, you may also want to look at direct entry roles in our businesses, as these may be the best way to build on your existing skills and expertise and develop a career at GSK. 

Once you’ve submitted your online application form, you’ll need to complete two online assessments prior to the assessment centre stage and as part of this, you’ll be asked about your motivation for the role:
