Your mission
think-cell was founded in 2002 as a start-up. Today, the name think-cell stands for a high standard of data visualization software worldwide and is a continuously growing ARR business. With the investor Cinven at our side, we want to accelerate our growth by establishing a world-class go-to-market team on top of an outstanding product and fanatic user base.
In your role as an Account Executive- Greater China you will be responsible for driving user growth in Greater China Region . In contrast to usual AE roles you will be responsible for all Go-to-market activities in Greater China, i.e. Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and, if applicable, Partner Management – while your main focus will be on sales. Leveraging the tools and expertise of our central GTM functions will enable you to efficiently run all GTM activities for your sub-region.
Tasks/Duties: - Pursue opportunities (identify use cases, run demos, create business cases, orchestrate company experts in selected cases, negotiate and close)
- Identify, research, and map selected accounts for effective outbound targeting (run email sequences, do selected cold calls)
- Localize or define and run marketing campaigns – with support from our central team
- Follow up on Leads and inbound requests
- Maximize conversion of trials (e.g. adjust email sequences and messaging)
- Provide post-deal adoption support (e.g. trainings)
- Expand existing and identify additional user groups
- Detect and prevent churn
- Activate resellers, engage in high-value deals, review their performance
Your profile
- Undergraduate degree, preferably in business, computer science, or related field; master’s degree is a plus
- Local work experience in the Greater China region and willingness to cope with time zone differences as needed
- 3-5+ years of experience in sales or business development for an Enterprise SaaS / software or tech company – ideally in a start-up setting
- Experience in navigating org structures and corporate dynamics of large clients
- Understanding of common GTM tools (e.g. Salesforce.com, Outreach)
- Excellent virtual communication and presentation skills
- Self-starter with a can-do attitude and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Appreciation of our product – willingness to understand think-cell’s product is a must (don’t worry, it’s very intuitive), experience with think-cell a plus
- Native Mandarin, Fluent in English
