Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an
Are you looking for an internship and want to get to know the work of a Human Factors Engineer? Then apply now! We look forward to you supporting us as an intern (d/f/m)!
Information availability increases with new sensors and improvements in connectivity. The amount of information in modern fighter aircraft can therefore be overwhelming. This raises the human factors need to ease the processing of information for operators.
The main objective for this internship is to identify existing concepts that deal with high quantities of information, evaluate the concepts for their suitability and work on a concept to ease information processing. Additionally, it is possible to gain insights into other aspects of work within the human factors teams.
Location: Manching
Start: as soon as possible
Duration: 3-6 months

Your tasks and responsibilities
Literature research
Existing concepts for abstracting information
Display of information in aircraft
Display of information in military planning
Human information processing
Create/modify a concept for information abstraction
(when enough time) apply the concept in the form of a prototype
Desired skills and qualifications
Is enrolled full time Student within Human Factors, psychology or related fields
has basic knowledge in literature research, information processing and concept design
is a good team player and has good communication skills
Language Skills: fluent in German and English
