Job description
- Development and maintenance of functional control models.
- Definition and documentation of the processes including roles and responsibilities for cost and profit accounting, time recording, project and investment controlling as well as functional controlling.
- Definition and updating of the billing concept, allocation principles and cycles as well as the standard calculation guidelines.
- Defining and detailing reporting structures, KPIs, objects and dimensions.
- Determination of content and approaches for investment and profitability calculations.
- Development and communication of project standards e.g. project phases and content, milestones, project reports, yield and return requirements as well as criteria for the prioritization and eligibility of projects.
- Definition of PEP standards and templates as well as criteria and the process for capitalizing research and development costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, prioritize and decide on new requirements and opportunities for improvement.
- Building and maintaining a community of experts, ensuring the anchoring of governance and defining and implementing appropriate forms of collaboration.
- Conducting internal training to implement standards and processes.
- Ensuring compliance and implementation of best practices and legal requirements.
- Definition of compliance and tracking mechanisms as well as measurements for the effectiveness and efficiency of processes and methods.
- Assessing the use of digital innovations, e.g. artificial intelligence, in performance management processes.
Voraussetzungen
- Study of industrial engineering or business administration (Bachelor/Master) with a focus on controlling.
- Good written and spoken English skills.
- At least 5 years in controlling of an international company.
- Expert knowledge of controlling and accounting processes and methods as well as standards.
- Advanced knowledge of relevant standards, capabilities and dependencies in ERP and BI systems.
- Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- High process, standard and efficiency orientation combined with a business-oriented and practical way of thinking.
- Solution-oriented attitude, strong quality and compliance awareness and a high (internal) customer orientation.
