Our focus is on integrating innovative technologies, materials science, architecture, and digital transformation in construction. Over the next few months, we plan to establish a pilot production facility in Germany to manufacture our cement-free and CO2-saving masonry system for the German market.
This role allows for a hybrid work setup. Nonetheless, the candidate is expected to be present at our HQ in Gehlberg on a weekly basis, making it advantageous to reside in the vicinity of Erfurt.
Conduct materials testing, analysing experimental data and presenting findings to the team
Assist in designing and executing laboratory experiments with regard to product development and high impact research projects
Contribute towards new concrete recipe formulations
Work closely with the R&D team to troubleshoot and solve materials-related challenges
Currently pursuing a degree in materials science, chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field
Academic background in materials characterisation and experimental design
Hands on experience with working safely in a laboratory
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with alkali activated materials/geopolymers
Fluency in both German and the English language (written and verbal)
