Engineering consultancy, technical risk mitigation and assurance of materials and processes for optical instruments
Participation in an international team for material and process evaluation in space
Review and evaluation of manufacturing, inspection and testing methods and procedures for space equipment and systems
Technical support in case of non-conformances or proposal evaluation
Participation or conduct of technical reviews on materials and processes for smart space solutions
Ihre Qualifikationen:
Phd/Master in Materials science, Metallurgy, Mechanical engineering, Physics, Chemistry or a comparable qualification
Ideally several years’ experience in the area of Materials and Processes, Optical engineering, Electronics manufacturing, Quality Assurance, or Product Assurance in the space industry
Experience in aerospace, especially in MMPP (materials, mechanical parts & processes) related activities
Interdisciplinary mindset, independent and forward-looking way of working
Flexibility, a high sense of responsibility, as well as the ability to work in an international team
Confident personality and good negotiation skills
Willingness to occasionally travel on business within Europe
Fluent English and ability to communicate in German.
