Job description
We are looking for a talented and driven Modern Workplace Architect to join our company. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports the modern workplace environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient and secure operation of our digital workplace infrastructure. Your challenge To design and implement infrastructure solutions to support the modern workplace environment, including collaboration tools, productivity applications, and communication systems; To be able to migrate all Microsoft applications from SCCM to Intune. To deploy and manage the infrastructure components, such as servers, Storage systems, networking devices, and Virtualization platforms, required for the modern workplace environment; To ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of the infrastructure by monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing necessary optimizations; Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain robust security measures, EndPoint security (Microsoft Defender for EndPoint (Microsoft Defender 365), EndPoint Privilege Management, Account protection, Attack surface reduction) To manage applications via Intune (including: Windows app (Win32), Microsoft Store Apps, Company Portal, App protection policies, Windows Information Protection) To provide technical guidance and support to end-users, resolving infrastructure-related incidents and service requests in a timely manner; To develop and maintain documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles to facilitate effective infrastructure management and support; To stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to modern workplace infrastructure, and make recommendations for enhancements and optimizations; To collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as IT operations, network engineering, and application development, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of the modern workplace infrastructure with other systems and processes; To participate in the planning and execution of infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and system integrations, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users; Contribute to the continuous improvement of infrastructure processes and workflows, driving automation and efficiency gains. Monitoring & Reporting (EndPoint analytics, Workspace, Log Analytics, Workbooks, Diagnostic settings) Power Automate (Power Apps, Logic Apps, Runbooks). PowerShell scripting as a big plus. Skills & requirements Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field + 10 years of experience as a systems or infrastructure engineer, with a focus on supporting modern workplace environments; Knowledge of information security best practices in administration of M365 services. Knowledge of Teams, ODFB, SPO, Office Online and Power Platform Knowledge of ICT infrastructure and systems Knowledge of ITIL best practices in ICT operations Relevant certifications (e.g.Azure AD, M365 or other Microsoft certifications) ; Strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including server Virtualization, cloud computing, networking, and Storage systems; Experience with modern workplace solutions, such as Microsoft 365 (Office 365), collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack), productivity applications, and unified communication systems; Familiar with security principles and best practices in the context of infrastructure design and operations. Soft skills Collaborative approach with hands on attitude Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues; Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment (language and communications skills) Capability to speak to and interface with business and technical audiences Capability to write clear and structured technical documents Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; Proactive attitude towards learning and keeping up with technological advancements.
