Intern in the field of insect physiology (all genders) 

YOUR TASKS AND EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES 

• You will work on future-oriented tasks at Crop Science in the field of insects/cell biology
• You support the establishment of methods for analyzing feeding behavior in sucking insects such as Electrical Penetration Graph (EPG)
• You evaluate imaging methods to gain a better understanding of phenotypic behavior
• You establish preparation methods of various insect organs and take the first steps towards primary cell preparation as well as their characterization using fluorescence microscopy
• You work in a multidisciplinary team 
• You collaborate with teams from other laboratories 
• You gain insight into the processes of industrial biotechnology 

WHO YOU ARE 

• You are an enrolled student (all genders) of biology or biochemistry or a comparable course of study and already have a Bachelors degree in the aforementioned courses 
• You have basic laboratory experience in the field of cell biology and molecular biology 
• You are familiar with the common Microsoft Office programs 
• You have good time and organizational management skills 
• You are characterized by your independent working style and enjoy working in a team 
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, German language skills are an advantage
