Job description
We are looking for you to join our team as a Financial Accountant (m/f/x) at our location in Heide at the earliest possible date!
YOUR TO-DOs:
- Responsibility for payment transactions, payment runs, management of open items, and receivables management
- Booking and posting of accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices
- Processing of G/L accounts, bank postings and support in asset accounting
- Booking of travel expenses, credit card statements, and taking over master data maintenance as well as archiving
- Conducting monthly closings and accounting correspondence in close collaboration with the tax consultant
- Creating invoices in the ERP system, checking and processing financial data, and independently preparing internal reports
- Management of fleet, post office and office supplies
- Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
YOUR SKILLS:
- Completed apprenticeship as tax specialist (m/f/x) or certified accountant (m/f/x) or comparable
- Several years of professional experience in financial administration and/or controlling are required, preferably with experience in a corporate setting
- Knowledge and interest in electronic data exchange and paperless accounting would be great
- You stay informed about current legal requirements in financial accounting and taxation and confidently implement them in practice
- Proficient in using MS Office, DATEV, and already experienced with automated invoice management and accounting software
- Good German and English language skills are desirable (but don’t worry, we provide training opportunities
