Job description

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization: 
Manage capacity planning process and tool for Product Operations (POPS), including product, materials, pattern and tooling development resources and align between different stakeholders within POPS and towards Brand counterparts. Coordinate and monitor POPS operational KPI’s. 

Key Responsibilities:

Creation Capacity Planning Process:
• Create reliable resource need projections, identify potential resource gaps, provide scenarios and report according to defined milestones towards POPS senior management by updating “rolling comparison” capacity reports.
• Regularly align with key stakeholders within POPS regarding range planning/creation capacity planning interdependencies. 
• Manage a high variety of complex stakeholder relationships.
• Be on top of organisational changes to quickly reflect those in capacity planning scenarios.
• Regularly be in touch with HR/POPS leadership to align on team structure, size and open positions.
• Document development of capacity throughout seasons/milestones.

Creation Capacity Planning Tool:
• Update of tool’s data sets for each milestone.
• Automate data verification and consistent data entries directly in the system.
• Create and maintain detailed process and functional documentation for end users.
• Be accountable for monitoring the configuration, features and functionalities related to the tool. 
• Ensure that objective data sources and feedback are used for the optimization of the tool. 

KPI’s:
• Monthly update of the buy ready report

Knowledge Skills and Abilities: 

• Competency in working with relational databases and developing data analysis tools
• Knowledge of Microsoft DAX and M formula languages
• Ability to quickly design and implement tools based on Microsoft’s “Power” suite of software (Power Query and Power Pivot within Excel, Power BI in its own application)
• Very good knowledge about product creation process
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Strong project management and analytical skills
• Very strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to lead discussions in small and larger groups
• Comfortable to interact with top management across all functions
• Fluent English

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 
• A degree from a college or university with emphasis in the areas of industrial engineering, textile or footwear technology or manufacturing and/or supply chain
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the Industry
