Job description
A client in insurance sector is currently looking for an Database Administrator - Insurance Sector (Luxembourg / CDI) You join an international company located in Luxembourg. You are in charge of the Database Administration, support and troubleshooting for the company. The company is looking for someone polyvalent who already has a first background in database administration. Your responsibilities You optimize database performance: identification of issues, configuration, incidents. You implement and maintain the database recovery strategy: testing procedures and keep the database available by limitation of risks. You ensure the automation and the development of scripts, tools and tasks (migrations, monitoring and management) You be polyvalent, provide support for employees, also problem and incident solving: maintaining accurate documentation of configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices You work with security teams to ensure security controls and compliance requirements. You be in charge of different database administration projects. Required skills You have at least 3 years of professional experience in a similar position. You have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science You are fluent in French and English You have a good knowledge on these following tools: Microsoft, MySQL, Oracle, Postgres You are curious, ready to learn and a good communicator If you are interested by this role, do not hesitate to apply.
