The Landessportbund Sachsen (LSB) is the largest civic organization in the Free State of Saxony. More than 670,000 members regularly participate in over 100 sports and disciplines in almost 4,500 sports clubs, from aerobics to decathlon. Our umbrella organization is home to sports clubs, state sports associations, district and city sports associations and other sports institutions. We represent the interests of organized sport to the public, provide services for our members and ensure coordinated sports development in Saxony. As a member of the LSB's IT team, you will work together to ensure the IT capabilities of all LSB departments, advise colleagues and member organizations on issues relating to the software solutions used in the LSB and actively shape the ongoing process of digitizing Saxony's sports landscape.
To support our office in Leipzig, we are looking for a computer scientist, IT specialist, IT support, IT administrator or similar as a
IT employee (m/f/d)
full-time (40 hours/week).
The position is permanent.
The responsibilities as an IT employee (m/f/d) essentially include
- Responsibility for the administration and further development of the LSB's Windows-based IT system landscape with approx. 50 clients
- Organization, coordination and safeguarding of IT-supported workflows and procedures for sports and office-specific applications (first and second level support)
- Preparation and implementation of training courses and creation of information materials
- Providing target group-oriented advice on the planning, introduction and operation of application software for the LSB and its member organizations
- Ensuring IT security
- Continuation of the digitalization process in the LSB and its member organizations
- Representation of the employee within the division
Your profile as an IT employee (m/f/d):
- Degree in computer science or professional qualification in a comparable technical field with relevant professional experience
- strong IT affinity with application-ready technical knowledge of a Windows-based operating system and Microsoft standard software
- Practical experience in the implementation of IT and digitization projects
- Consulting and communication skills, confident demeanor
- Ability to work in a team, structured and independent work
- Flexibility of thought and action as well as creative problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of the structures of organized sport is an advantage
