Your mission
HelloBetter is a pioneer in the field of digital healthcare. For more than 10 years, we have been developing evidence-based digital health applications for the prevention and treatment of mental health conditions. Our applications cover a variety of areas, including stress management, depression, problematic alcohol use, panic disorder and anxiety, vaginismus, and sleep disorders.
Six of HelloBetter's ten applications are approved as digital health applications. They are available free of charge by prescription to all insured adults in Germany.

Project Team as a
Product Designer (m/f/x) and be part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team shaping an innovative mental health product within machine learning and AI space. Refine concepts into polished designs, and create a seamless user experience across platforms: desktop app, mobile app and marketing website.

Salary Band: Professional IC L2: 40 - 60k € (gross, fix) + VSOP (15% of annual gross salary)
Senior Professional IC L3:60 - 80k € (gross, fix) + VSOP (20% of annual gross salary)
Remote-first Culture with offices in Potsdam and Berlin: This position is part of a research project supported by the state of Brandenburg. Residency around Brandenburg / Berlin is therefore necessary.
Your objectives
- Transformation of innovative concepts into sophisticated and streamlined wireframes, visual design components, and high-fidelity prototypes
- Utilization and expansion of our existing HelloBetter UI Style Guide across various platforms and websites
- Designing a comprehensive user flow spanning from the marketing website, through the product mobile app, to the web application
- Conducting user testing for design solutions and continuously iterating based on feedback
- Collaboration with data scientists, product managers, psychologists, academic and product researchers, and engineers
- Development of an in-depth understanding of user needs and pain points, exploring how technological innovation can address them
Your profile

Must Haves - 3–5 years of work experience as a Product UX/UI Designer for both mobile and web applications
- Proficiency in standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Foundational understanding of Machine Learning
- English as company language fluently
Nice to Haves - Experience working within the digital health or self-improvement space (education, wellness, fitness, habit building)
- Experience in designing user flows for marketing websites in addition to product user flows
- Experience with A/B testing user flows across platforms
- German language skills (B2-C2)
