Job description
For our renowned customer we are looking for a "Flight Test Engineer" (m/f/d) in temporary employment as soon as possible.
Your tasks:
- Coordination of development and certification tests
- Development of a flight test program for a CS/FAR23 commuter aircraft
- Development of flight test cards
- Definition of flight test instrumentation
- Coordination/planning of aircraft modifications
- Development of procedures and manoeuvres for flight test cards
- Preparation and conduction of ground- and flight tests
- Classification of test hazards and risk mitigation procedures
- Data reduction and qualified real-time/post flight analysis
- Compilation of test reports
- Participation during onsite and offsite test campaigns
- The production manager should be able to guide the transition from the prototype environment to serial production
Your profile:
- Completed studies in aerospace engineering; alternatively a similar degree or an adequate education / experience in the aeronautical industry
- Min. 3 years professional working experience
- Experience in flight testing required
- Experience with development and certification flight testing desired
- Experience in aircraft evaluation, verification and validation
- Familiar with Part21 and CS/FAR23 requirements
- Experience in flight testing of power plant, propeller and fuel systems will be an advantage
- Experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM Software will be an advantage
- Good knowledge of all MS-Office software
- Flight background is an advantage
- Good knowledge of the English language
- Structured, independent and solution oriented way of working
- Good communication skills and good Team worker, having an analytical and process oriented mind-set
- Flexible worker, prepared to support and act in other functions across the organisation
