MIBL provides a wide range of financial services to institutional investors including depositary, custody, fund administration and other banking-related services.

MIBL now has an opening in its Fund Administration Department for a:

Head of Transfer Agency

(Permanent contract)

(Ref: HTA 12/2023)

Responsibilities:

• Lead the provision of transfer agency services to investment funds contracted with MUFG IS Luxembourg;
• Manage the Investor Operations Team (Transfer Agency), allocate tasks among team members, set priorities to meet client and regulatory deadlines, ensure all client service expectations are met and internal procedures followed;
• Manage team resources, including resource planning in coordination with The Head of FAD and Deputy Head of FAD;
• Promote a culture of trust, respect with each other, compliance with internal rules and accountability within the team;
• Ensure day-to-day queries related to both Transfer Agency and AML/KYC tasks for investors within MIBL Fund Administration Department are timely and appropriately handled;
• Ensure joined-up processes are in place and maintained with MFS Dublin GAT team in case investor AML/CFT tasks are delegated by MIBL;
• Act as escalation point internally and externally for any matter related to TA processes.

Your profile:

• Academic degree in Finance or Law Studies;
• Experience of 10 years in the fund administration industry with at least 5 years in a TA and AML/KYC role;
• Experience in team management;,
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg AML rules applicable to Investment Fund investors, especially in the context of Alternative Investment Funds with large institutional investors;
• Proactive and problem-solving attitude;
• Good command of MS Office suite;
• Fluency in English, any other language such as German, French or Japanese would be an asset.
