As the Warehouse Engineer , you will perform the following duties:

• Develop and propose business cases for material flow improvements to Branch Managers based in expertise knowledge of warehouse design, warehouse technology solutions, storage, picking and slotting methodologies
• Contact person for local Material Flow analysis and issues within designated LTCS branch and as needed across our Warehouse Network
• Actively look for innovation and continuous improvements within designated Branch location
• Perform ROI analysis for procurement of operations resources, conduct time studies on activities to calculate per event rates
• Lead Processes Improvement Projects at the branch as well as collaboration in projects within our network
• Assist with process deviations root cause analysis

You must fulfill the following requirements:

• High school diploma/GED required
• College degree/vocational training required
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3-5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse engineering, or production facilities with exposure to Lean principles and process improvement projects
• English language required
• German language desirable
• Industrial Engineering or other technical expertise, Lean methods, and project management required
• Ability to complete courses up to and including “Lean Facilitator 2” at the LHT Lean Academy
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office as expert
• Ability to learn Visio
• Must possess permit to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to travel
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Shift work / overtime
• High stress levels
• Lift up to 70 lbs
• Noise pollution
