We support manufacturing and process development projects from design through to clinical and commercial scale.
To strengthen our analytical development department, we are looking for a full-time position at our Munich site at the earliest possible date.

Requirements
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaboration in the development and qualification of cell-based assays to determine the biological activity and safety of viral vectors
- Execution of all cell culture measures to maintain routine cell culture as well as to perform various assay formats
- Collaboration in the development and qualification of various assay read outs (ELISA, enzymatic activity assays, TCID50) including statistical analysis
- Creation of SOP-like work instructions and development reports in R&D
- Working with organisms of risk groups 1 and 2
- Collaboration in the establishment of a QC laboratory, validation of cell-based assays and writing of SOP instructions under GMP
- Tasks for general laboratory organization and maintenance of laboratory operations in R&D and QC
What you’ll bring:
- CTA, BTA or MTA with at least 5 years work experience
- Experience in cell biological techniques (cultivation of adherent and suspension cells under aseptic conditions, plasmid transfection and viral transduction / infection, cell culture assays in microtiter plate format)
- Experience in molecular and protein biochemical methods: qPCR, ddPCR, ELISA, activity assays (kinetic and endpoint)
- Well-structured, precise working skills and very high demands on the quality of work
- Open communication and strong team spirit
- Motivated, curious and enjoying challenging activities
- Computer skills (especially Excel) and interest in statistics
- Good knowledge of German and English
Additional skills
- Previous knowledge in the field of virology, especially with AAV and with work under biological safety level 2
- Experience in the GMP environment
