For our "Digitization" division we are looking for a

Application Consultant E-Government Basic Services (m/f/d)

The position can be based at our office in Darmstadt, Giessen or Kassel. This position is a full-time position, which is generally divisible.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Your main tasks will include supporting product and solution modules in the area of e-government basic services and communication infrastructures and standards in public administration (OSCI/XTA/FIT-Connect/XÖV standards)
• You are responsible for solution/product development and for solution/product research, market research, competitive analyses, product/solution positioning, strategy development, scheduling and product launch or further development
• You independently create technical and IT concepts
• You manage the commercial processing of orders
• You are responsible for knowledge transfer within ekom21, with partners and to customers
• You plan and carry out knowledge transfer events
• You are responsible for the functional and technical configuration of the solutions
• You plan and control complex processing runs and continuously optimize them
• You are responsible for incident and quality management

The level of pay is based on a salary up to EG 11 TVöD (VKA) and will be subject to a final individual assessment and personal qualifications.

What you bring with you

• Completed studies in computer science (B.Sc. / B.A.)/ administrative informatics (B.Sc. / B.A.) / business informatics (B.Sc. / B.A.) or training as an IT specialist or IT business administrator with additionally acquired skills and experience ("other employees"), which are equivalent to the required academic qualifications
• In-depth knowledge of computer science
• In-depth knowledge of processes and development statuses as well as program management
• Very good and always up-to-date knowledge of the solution modules of the division and the connected specialist processes
• Knowledge of process management and project management
• Experience of processes, strategies and methods in software quality assurance and software testing
• Experience with QA management tools (e.g. Aqua)
• In-depth knowledge of data protection and IT security
• Knowledge of administrative law
