Honeywell Productivity Solutions & Services (PSS), part of Honeywell Industrial Automation (IA), is a leading manufacturer of high-performance data collection hardware, including rugged mobile computers, bar code scanners, label printers, software, services and voice guided solutions.

Honeywell PSS also provides advanced Software, Service and professional solutions that help customers effectively manage data and assets. Honeywell PSS’s products are sold worldwide through a network of distributors and channel partners.
We are now lookin g for a committed “ Business Development Leader Europe (m/f/d) Retail ” to essentially contribute to the growth and success of our Honeywell PSS business .
As part of the European sales leadership team, you will be responsible for managing and developing new strategic Tier1 Retail customers in Europe.
Your f ocus will be on establish ing strong C-Level relationships with our strategic account s and on creat ing account strategies and tactics to generate an increasing share of demand.
We are seek ing a focused and strong sales leader with a proven track record in creating net new business with top retail customers in Europe while bringing a diverse technological understanding. It´s about selling solutions that include Hardware, Software and Service s.
This position reports directly to the VP GM of Honeywell PSS in Europe.
Besides the headquarter in Neuss, Germany, a Home Office and other Honeywell s ites , close to the relevant customer base in Europe , can be considered as suitable work location, according to the business needs.
Your Responsibilities
Achieve new business with the Strategic Accounts and establish C-Level relationships with all your target accounts
Develop account plans to drive a consistent increase of our share of demand
Provide accurate and timely forecasts
Ensure consistency of project and account plan data in our CRM tool (S alesforce . com )
Lead by example and foster teamwork to achieve the maximum impact with your accounts
Build an internal and external eco-system to provide solutions to our customers
Create strong value propositions and presentations for target customers , that a re outcome and ROI driven
Understand the matrix and functional organization and work with team members and peers to drive a common goal
Embrace and deliver change to the business in a positive, understanding and forward-thinking manner
Your Profile
5+ years of continuous and successful Sales and Sales leadership experience, with an Auto ID / Retail or Supply Chain solutions background required
A Bachelor, Master´s or University business degree is considered as a plus
Proven track record of sales leadership achievement s across multiple countries and cultures
Broad technological understanding across IT, HW and SW
Ability to create business plan s that include financials, marketing and staffing justification s
Outstanding interpersonal, communication and consulting skills, able to successfully interact on all levels up to senior / executive management
Excellent leadership skills, capable to build and develop high energy and performance driven cross-functional teams
Strong solution and result orientation , with a positive, forward thinking , highly proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
Ability to ensur e success in matrix organizations, with a passion for teamwork and collaboration in an international environment
Experience in working with distributor and partner networks
Willingness to travel within Europe on a regular base
Full proficiency in German and Englisch
