Our client is a dynamic group operating successfully in the aerospace and Precision Machining Contract Manufacturing sectors. Due to continued growth, they are now hiring for the position of Technical Lead Sales Executive. This is a full-time permanent career opportunity. It is fully remote within Ireland, however the candidate must be willing and able to attend monthly onsite meetings in the Limerick/Shannon region. This role will involve regular travel, mostly within Europe, so for this reason only candidates with an EU passport can be considered.
The main focus of this role is to take ownership of RFPs, this would include being the contact person for RFPs, sharing it with the different members with the group, and project managing the individuals concerned to complete the various parts of the RFPs and then to complete it and return to the client.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate sales projects between our companies, customers and subcontractors
- Coordinate and writes quotations on behalf of all companies in the Group
- Liaise with customers to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
- Ensure that customer needs are met as the project evolves
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
- Analyse risks and opportunities
- Support our local teams by providing project management, coordination between our companies and attend meetings, audits and calls with the customers
- Attend trade shows and conferences in Europe
- Have a good understanding of the group’s products and services and be able to advise others about them
- Attend biweekly sales meetings
Candidate profile:
- Prior experience of working on RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and of project coordination, gained in a relevant industry sector (e.g. manufacturing, aerospace, Precision Machining).
- Familiar with IQ, OQ and PQ protocols
- Knowledge of the machining process, including the ability to read drawings
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, allied with excellent presentation skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage complex projects
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
- Tenacity and resilience, drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets
- Ability to multitask and prioritise the workload
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- EC passport required
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Full clean driving license
Nice-to-have
- Experience with CRM (Salesforce)
- Fluency in German and/or French
