Postdoc (f/m/x) Life Sciences / Biology / Immunology
Full time or part time | temporary (36 months) | Center of Allergy and Environmental Research (ZAUM)
Aufgaben:
Join the Airway immunology Research Team
- To explore epithelial and immune mechanisms in ex vivo samples or primary cell cultures
- Develop and establish cutting-edge technology such as genome wide analysis, FACS, and/or single cell sequencing analysis
- Design of experimental systems for the identification of molecular mechanisms
- Support supervision of technical staff and PhD students
- Writing of scientific manuscripts and support proposals for third-party funding
- Attend and present work at international conferences
Qualifikationsprofil:
- University degree (PhD) in immunology, biology, molecular medicine, or similar field with outstanding results, at least one published article
- High motivation, enthusiasm, and commitment to science
- Experience in laboratory work in immunology, molecular medicine, preferably allergy, specifically in cell culture, immunologic / biochemical or genetic techniques
- Transmitting motivation, enthusiasm, and commitment to academic science
- Ability to work independently and goal-oriented
- An open and curious mindset and team spirit
- Ability to build up state-of-the-art scientific techniques in the team and to anchor them in the long term
- Excellent communication and scientific writing skills in English
