Whether you're supporting the development and enhancement of an end-to-end big-data platform for the Data & Analytics organization or assist in providing data- and research-based insights for the improvement of business decisions, product offers, pricing and marketing strategies etc. to key business stakeholders, your role will be integral in shaping the success of our brand in the dynamic world of sports.

GROW YOUR CAPABILITIES THROUGH MEANINGFUL TASKS & PROJECTS
- Analytics Support and Visualization:- Support in delivering analytics services by assisting with data collection, mining, and analysis to generate fact-based insights for key stakeholders.- Contribute to translating insights into engaging, actionable presentations with visualization tools like PowerBI.
- Reporting and Dashboard Development:- Support the implementation of reporting structures and enhance end-to-end reporting solutions and dashboard features- Assist in the development of best practice guidance for markets and other adidas stakeholders to maximize the use of analytics capabilities
- Data Science and Machine Learning Support:- Support the improvement and further development of Data Science and machine learning applications, such as assortment optimization and article similarity based on images, in platforms like Databricks.
- Data Democratization and Self-Service Offerings:- Conceptualize and promote a data democratization and literacy roadmap and self-service offerings for the analyst community.- Support exploration, analysis, and processing of different data sources, including big data, to empower users with data access.- Collaborate with agile teams comprising Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Product Owners to implement these solutions- Create data products and interactive reports with user-centered analysis and design
WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU A MATCH
- Student in Business Information Systems, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or similar, with a focus on Data Science, Data Analytics, or Big Data.
- Ideally, first experience or passion in the field of data analytics/science, incl. exploratory data analysis, statistics, and machine learning.
- First experience in exploratory data analysis and visualization with different tools and languages (e.g. PowerBI, Python for data analysis and SQL).
- First experience working in cloud-based development (Databricks & Google Collab), considered a strong plus.
- Strong communication skills, including fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Project management skills are a plus
- Structured, organized, and process-oriented, with an analytical mindset.
- First experience in UX or user-centered design for Analytics is a plus

- Monthly gross allowance: non-compulsory internship 2.098,00€, compulsory internship 1.590,00 € (Difference due to different taxation, net will be the same)
ELIGIBILITY
- Enrolled as full-time student for the complete duration of the internship
- Or in the so-called gap year between Bachelor and Master’s degree (gap year regulation only applicable to EU citizens due to working permit regulations)
- Candidates in penultimate year of study preferred (following the internship, students should have maximum one year to graduate)
- Availability for the full duration of the internship from September 2024 - March 2025
- Ability to relocate to Herzogenaurach in Germany for the full duration of the internship
