Workday Senior Manager (m/f/d)

Are you confident in providing IT and HR consulting services using high-performance state-of-the-art technology? Are you a charismatic manager and excellent at Workday Service Partners and stakeholder management? Then take on a key position and step into the IT organization of a globally operating healthcare group!

In this role, you will take over the Strategic management of the Workday Application Operation for our customer Fresenius SE and Fresenius Kabi. You will also manage the setup of the Application Management Services for Workday Operation, run and stabilize engagement, implementation and roll-out of the further enhancements and systems with responsibility for the budget and results.

Your assignments

• You are responsible for Workday Application Operation for the organization, ensuring its stability, integrity and alignment with business objectives.
• You are responsible to lead the Workday Application Management Services team, providing strategic direction and fostering a culture of ownership and accountability.
• You are responsible to collaborate with external service partners, managing relationships and ensuring adherence to established SLAs for support, maintenance, and system enhancements.
• You are responsible to develop, monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and SLAs to measure the effectiveness of service partners, ensuring service quality and timely issue resolution.
• You are responsible for the disciplinary and functional leadership of the team.
• Based on careful process analyses, you develop innovative HR IT solution concepts and configure them according to our requirements and the corporate strategy.
• You will be budget responsible for managing major IT projects and coordinating HR IT services, e.g., the Application Management Services of Workday. This includes stakeholder management and management of suppliers / vendors.
• In your role, you will work closely with management bodies and employee representation.

Your profile

• A degree in economics or IT, or comparable career experience and background in IT
• At least 10+ years of experience in managing HR IT projects (e.g. Workday, SAP, ServiceNow, Concur) as Service Delivery Manager with strong focus on conception, architecture, consulting and configuration
• Proven track record of managing / leading Workday AMS engagement for a large global Enterprise Customer
• Experience in working with external suppliers and relevant stakeholders to manage delivery of services to Corporate HR
• General management experience with HR processes / solutions and IT processes in accordance with ITIL, including project management and PMO
• Business fluent English (level C1 or higher), German language skills are a plus
• A team player personality with communication skills, disciplinary leadership qualities and intercultural competence, who has preferably already managed virtual teams
