Job description
Ryanair Engineering Germany GmbH, based at Berlin-Brandenburg Airport, was founded in 2018 and is a 100% subsidiary of Ryanair. The Irish airline currently operates a fleet of more than 450 modern Boeing 737-700/800, MAX, Airbus A320 and Learjet45 aircraft and will continue to expand until 2024. Our highly skilled and dedicated engineering team is responsible for the maintenance of all Ryanair aircraft in Germany.
We are looking for a Station Manager (m/f/d) for our Berlin Station .
Your responsibilities:
- Station management Technical and disciplinary management of selected the line maintenance station
- Responsibility of resource planning / duty and leave planning
- Organization of further education and training for all employees at the site
- Responsibility for deployment planning and compliance with the regulations applicable to service operations according to MOE and EASA Part 145 and occupational health & safety regulations
- Conducting appraisal interviews, competency assessments and personnel development at the site
- Ensuring policy adherence, compliance, and auditing
- Coordination of AOG / unscheduled and scheduled maintenance task for the aircraft stationed at the BER
- Operational activities such as management support for AOG operations, implementation of standard and scheduled audits, derivation of measures based on audit findings. Follow up on first wave flight delays due to technical defects, implementation of internal audits
- Very close cooperation with the head of technical operations and the quality management, maintenance planning and materials department
- Communication with all departments involved in the production process
- Creation of reports and presentations for meetings
- Independent project work
- Special assignments assigned by the Head of Technical Operations
- Travel activity
- Supervision and evaluation of performance development of direct report
Requirements
- At least 3 years of work experience in aircraft maintenance within an airline or MRO management level
- EASA Part 66 CAT B1 or B2 license or an equivalent qualification with Boeing 737 NG/MAX or Airbus 320 experience is an advantage
- Experience in leading, developing and instructing employees
- Very good knowledge of EASA Part 145/M regulations
- Experience in using SMS and investigator experience
- Knowledge of aviation quality management systems
- In-depth knowledge of occupational safety regulations
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written German and English
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and AMOS is an advantage
- Experience in working together in customer business
- Valid EU driver's license - class B
- A valid EU/EEA passport without restrictions
- Willingness to travel
