As part of the T&E G lobal Product Engineering leadership team you will influence and drive collaboration within our Trauma Business U nit and intentionally build cross-functional relationships between Manufacturing and Division al stakeholders to advance projects along the Product Supply Support responsibilit ies . Together we are sustain ing over 50’000 products and count on you to maintain our complex supply chain by continuously assessing the design impact of processes improvements and p roduct t ransfers. Your role includes people leadership and technical duties to ensure efficiency over all the change control execution .
Your key responsibilities
Manage a group of talented engineers that work in cross-functional teams to solve design related supply issues in internal and external manufacturing as well as supporting product trans fers. Apply strong technical skills to effectively coach and lead . U nderstand quickly complex issues, drive root cause investigations and propose efficient and compliant solutions.
Lead projects and initiatives within the business unit, with responsibility for planning, budgeting, meeting project goals and adequately staffing with talent.
Leverage strong listening skills , social competency and written / verbal communication to influence and convey business, regulatory compliance , and/or technical ideas to customers, employees, peers, external partners, and senior leaders.
Carry out a robust talent offense by attracting, developing, retaining , and engaging top talent while driving personal/professional growth of individuals, the team and delivering high quality results.
Promote a culture of diversity, inclusion and belonging .
Support and mentor others in complex cooperative efforts across cross-functional teams, influencing one's own technical areas of expertise and building key relationships, to drive innovation and ensure achievement of business goals.
Utilization / Management of the Design & Change Controls .
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Engineering or applicable technical field.
6+ years applicable experience . P eople management experience preferred.
G ood command of German and English. Knowledge of French is an advantage.
S trong technical skills and e xperience in and ability to mentor in own technical / functional disciplines.
Manufacturing knowledge in Medical Device industry or comparable.
General knowledge of the healthcare market and competitors.
H igh degree of self-management, decision making capabilities and social competency
We are open to an onsite or hybrid candidate for this role and y ou will need to live within commuting distance to Schönkirchen , Germany .
