Project Engineer - Incinerators

Job description

The Project Engineer/Project Manager position will be based out of Zeeco's Krefeld office, Duesseldorf / Germany area. The position will require knowledge of all Zeeco products, with a focus on Incinerators division products and relevant technical requirements. Responsible for all aspects of assigned jobs to assure high quality products are delivered on time, within the assigned budget and satisfying the customer requirements. Duties include coordinating with the various internal and external disciplines, develop and maintain the procurement and manufacturing schedule, technical and commercial bid evaluations process with sub vendors, monitoring the assigned budget and handling technical and commercial correspondence as required.

Job Duties:

• Reviews Purchase Order and confirms scope of supply based on customer specifications and sales quotation.
• Confirms equipment selection and designs and performs / coordinates required disciplines.
• Coordinates drafting activities to makes sure all required drawings are completed on time.
• Reviews customer mark-ups, clarifies the comments and instructs drafting as to disposition.
• Ensures the costs will be within the assigned budget and manages any change with the customer and the suppliers.
• Maintains delivery schedule based on Customer requirements and Zeeco workloads, including coordination of drafting, purchasing, manufacturing and quality control.
• Pre-orders materials as required for meeting delivery.
• Coordinates and provides information to the Quality Control Department for customer / job specifications.
• Coordinates all required technical and commercial correspondence related to the job. This includes all internal communications and all correspondence with the Customer, end user, sales reps, and/or outside consultants.
• Coordinates written advise and commercial resolution with Customer concerning any change to the scope of supply.
• Notifies Accounts Department when billings are to be sent.
• Performs other related duties as assigned, such as site or work shop trips, design activities and supporting sales and application engineering.

Qualifications

B.S. degree or Masters Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, etc.) and/or five (5) years related experience in a manufacturing environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have personal computer skills.
