Control Engineer Chasis - Brakes (f/m/d)

Your profile
- University degree in electrical, mechanical engineering or mathematics/physics.
- Strong interest to perform test activities on vehicle level, including vehicle handling in instable driving conditions.
- Understanding of vehicle dynamics, powertrain, and brake systems.
- In-vehicle testing and/or simulation experience is a big plus.
- First experience in model based design and C-code development for embedded controllers appreciated.
- Training and knowledge on Automotive-SPICE and Functional Safety appreciated
- (ISO/IEC15504 and IEC61508 / ISO26262).
- Willingness to travel to test tracks, headquarters and customers.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Passenger car driving license (B).
- Very good knowledge of English is required, Korean and German is a plus.

Your tasks
- Design and analyse brake system and chassis control functions jointly with the vehicle application team and the engineering team in the headquarter in Korea.
- Execute in-vehicle, hardware in the loop and software in the loop testing for the brake system control functions.
- Support the application team with algorithm analysis and act as connecting link between the german and the korean controls team.
- Execute Review and analyze european customer requirements with regards to vehicle control functions.
- Execute Plan and perform travel to test tracks (cold climate and special test areas), headquarters (HQ) and customers.
- Report the progress on the development projects.
- Ensure a reliable relation with HQ design teams and customers.
