Schwarz IT takes care of the entire digital infrastructure and all software solutions of the companies of Schwarz Group. As a result, it is responsible for the selection, provision, operation and continuing development of IT infrastructure, IT platforms and business applications. In order to provide IT solutions that optimally support the departments’ business processes, Schwarz IT addresses the departments’ requirements in consultations and works with them to develop professional and effective IT solutions.
Cloud Platform Engineer (Data & AI)
Employment Area: IT - BI, AI & Data // Location: Neckarsulm (hybrid) // Employment Type: Full-time
Help build and secure the AI cloud platform of tomorrow and take responsibility for interfaces with numerous systems and areas
Develop new solutions and architecture using various cloud technologies for batch and real-time data products and automate processes within the platform
Collate new requirements and work on their technical implementation
Take responsibility for the introduction of new technologies and the integration of these technologies into the existing system landscape
Work as part of an interdisciplinary team alongside platform engineers, data scientists, architects and departments
Act as a coach and mentor for fellow team members, with an excellent ability to analyze and solve technical problems
Passion for cloud platforms and software development
Experience in designing, developing and running cloud-based solutions, from the network to the end application, ideally in Microsoft Azure
Good knowledge of software development and automation (such as infrastructure as code), e.g., using Python, Java or Ansible
Experience building container-based solutions using Kubernetes
Ideally project experience in machine learning and analytics
Analytical skills, an agile mindset, the ability to work independently and a hands-on mentality
Excellent English skills; preferably good German skills
Degree in information systems or talented lateral entrant
